NAIS has successfully completed its latest project to upgrade its online platform for alternative dispute resolution. The chat screens for the trader, complainant, and mediator now feature an improved design, which was enhanced based on user surveys conducted during platform testing. New functionalities have been developed to improve the security of the website and the information it contains.
The development of the NAIS website and platform has been co-financed by the European Commission under the Single Market Programme.
"The new chat screens have been very well received, as shown by the survey conducted among participants in the User Mediation Training, organized by the Professional Association of Mediators in Bulgaria, where the new platform design was presented for the first time. We believe this is a significant step forward to better user experience and protection against unvoluntatary errors.," said Mrs. Svilena Nasalevska, Executive Director of NAIS.
In addition to the upgrades to our online platform, as part of the EU co-financing, we held three seminars for traders and mediators, where we explained the legislative framework of consumer ADR in Bulgaria and its benefits for businesses. During another mediators' training, we presented the expected changes in the legislative framework related to consumer mediation, trends in online dispute resolution, consumer psychology, and also showcased the innovations in our platform. They were engaged in consumer mediation simulation testing all 3 interfaces- traders', mediators', consumers'. A mediator from the NAIS ADR Center received training in soft skills for dispute resolution. We received a lot of positive feedback from participants.
As part of the same project, 16 interesting articles were published in three sections: "Consumer's Reader," "Mediator’s Diary," and "Trade Leaders Guide," as well as in the website's News section. Inteviews with the Executive Director of NAIS were published in two electronic media outlets, along with publications in five other media outlets, addressing the expected changes in the EU ADR Directive.
In October 2023, NAIS hosted the plenary meeting of the international organization of ADR bodies in the public transport sector, Travel-Net, for which it received a lot of positive feedback from the European colleagues. The meeting was also held with the financial support of the EU. Under the same program, NAIS participated in the international organizations Telecom-Net and Fin-Net.
