BNAAP was established at the end of 1998 and was registered in early 1999 under the name Bulgarian National Consumers Association. Since the beginning of 2010, after the accession to BNAP of the association "Active Consumers", the name of the association became the Bulgarian National Association "Active Consumers", publicly known as "Active Consumers". BNAAP Association is a member of both the International and the European Consumer Organizations and actively participates in international meetings, forums and working groups dedicated to current issues in the field of consumer protection. PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MEDIATORS IN BULGARIA / PAMB /
Established in 2006, PAMB is the first training organization approved by the Ministry of Justice and the only one to conduct upgrading trainings for resolving consumer disputes as well as cross-border mediation. PAMB has experienced mediators who have theoretical and practical knowledge in mediation, including conducting online mediation procedures. PAMB has been actively working over the years on dozens of national and international projects related to mediation and alternative dispute resolution, including the organization of a European network of mediators - EuroNetMediation. Under a project of PAMB, together with the Sofia District Court, the first judicial centre in Bulgaria for referral of court cases to mediation was established - the Centre for Settlements and Mediation at the SRC.
